Challenge:
The main challenge of this project was to make homemade meals easily discoverable for those who enjoy traditional cuisine.
Jadi Domasno was a client of Brainster where we, as students of the academy, were tasked with developing a website that connects home chefs with food enthusiasts seamlessly. Our goal was to ensure a user-friendly experience and broad accessibility to homemade culinary offerings.
Roles:
Established a unique visual identity for Jadi Domasno, reflecting its mission.
Led user research efforts, including analysis of user needs and preferences to better understand the target audience.
Designed the user interface, including creating wireframes, prototypes, and final designs aimed at enhancing the user experience.
Presented project results to the client, mentor, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.
Played a pivotal role within the team, contributing to activity coordination, task allocation, and providing support to colleagues in achieving project objectives.
Optimized design processes for efficient and high-quality output.
The Result:
Working on a project involving such delicate subject matter as food was quite a responsibility. Understanding how to showcase each chef and their gourmet creations was key. We had to ensure that every chef's menu was presented realistically and appealingly. With the team, we explored the audience in North Macedonia, conducted user research, interviews, and surveys, and designed a solution for our client, who is a client of Brainster Academy. We managed to meet both the client's and our mentor's expectations, even though we had a short two-week deadline. The project has been presented and handed over for further development.
